Pyupip - The Swinging Seedling

Pyupip’s days are spent clinging to branches, eating tree sap and sleeping. Their mobility is limited but these light weight and resourceful creatures use wind to help them swing across the forest.

These creatures are competitive natured as a result of sharing feeding grounds with thousands of other individuals. Pyupip assault their rivals by swinging with the intent of knocking them off their tree branch.

Consuming sticky tree sap has caused Pyupip’s saliva to develop adhesive properties which they use to reduce the mobility of predators and rivals.
When these cunning creatures are cornered they shed their sweet smelling leaves to draw attention while they flee into the trees.

Diet
Pyupip’s primarily source of nutrients comes from tree sap but on ocassions they consume nectar from tree flowers. Their diet is limited whatever the tree can provide due to it being too dangerous for these creatures to venture on the ground.
