Carvu - The Noxious Nibbler

Carvu rarely pose a danger unless they are provoked, despite their gnarly appearance. When Carvu feels threatened they defend themselves by propelling bodily acids at their foes. These passive creatures also prefer to wait for scraps to eat than hunt for food.
Personalities and Behaviors
Carvu are shy natured creatures and they would rather avoid conflict if possible. And despite their savage appearance Carvu cares about their hygiene and keeping their nest clean and disease free.
History and Culture
The relationship between mankind and Carvu benefits both sides. Folk of the marsh provide protection and shelter while Carvu is happy to clean up by eating insects and garbage they find. Some villages allow Carvu to freely roam, sometimes they are kept as pets.
These typically shy creature seem to enjoy the company of humans.
Abilities
In short, Carvu are biological anomalies. Their arms have separate heads that can act on their own. These heads are also connected to their stomach, allowing them to eat and regurgitate. Carvu is aware and using their senses even when the main head is asleep.
To defend themselves Carvu attacks by biting with all their heads and spitting harsh bodily acid from their gut. Anyone hit by Carvu’s bile will have their flesh dissolved.
Ecology
These plant-like birds are low on the marshland’s food chain, ranking below active predators such as Primaw and Swamp Junzarda. However, they have an important role in their ecosystem: Carvu are the scavengers of the marshlands. The dead remains of prey are left to Carvu to consume and clean before pestilence can form and harm living creatures.
Carvu enjoy collecting bones and brings them to their nest to play with and chew on later.
Diet
As scavengers of the marshlands Carvu feeds on the remains of creatures hunted by predators. Their powerful gut allows them to consume toxic creatures without falling ill. If food is scarce Carvu will direct their attention to insects and human garbage.
Hewt carrion is Carvu’s favorite food.
